Coupon Acronymns
Are you having a rough time figuring out what the heck all those acronyms mean when looking at different coupon offers?
Don’t feel bad, I still run across ones that I don’t know. Take a look at the list below and see if you can figure out what they all mean.
- BOGO – Buy One Get One Free
- CRT – Cash Register Tape (Scan your card at the CVS price check scanner)
- ESR – EasySaver Rebate
- FAV – Free after Rebate
- IPQ (Sometimes referred to as IP) – Internet Printable Coupon
- MFR – Manufacturer Coupon
- OOP – Out of Pocket – actual cash paid
- Q – Coupon
- RR – Register Reward – Walgreen’s “money” printed on receipts to be used like cash in store
- RP – Red Plum – coupons from newspaper insert
- SS – Smart Source – coupons from newspaper insert
- P&G(or PG) – Proctor and Gamble – coupons from newspaper insert
- Stacking – Using a store coupon AND manufacturer coupon for one item
- TMF – Try Me Free – Usually means that after sending in a rebate form you get money back. AKA Free after Mail in rebate
